ASTM A519 SAE AISI 4130 4140 QT Seamless Tubing

ASTM A519 seamless tubing covers several grades of carbon and alloy steel seamless tubing. A519 4130 and 4140 tubing are two kinds of alloy steel which are commonly used as raw materials in the automotive industry.

A519 4130 is a kind of low alloy steel which contains molybdenum and chromium as strengthening component. The carbon content of 4130 tubing is between 0.28% to 0.33%, as the carbon content is relatively low, 4130 steel tube is good for fusion weld. This material can be hardened by heat treatment.

AISI 4140 tube is medium carbon alloy steel tube, which is widely used for general purpose applications that require high tensile strength and toughness. The addition of chromium and molybdenum, along with heat treatment contribute to the combined advantage of hardness, ductility, and strength. Typical application in the automotive industry for 4140 mechanical tubing is rotor shaft.

     A: 30% advance payment, 70% balance against B/L copy or Letter of Credit at sight.

 

4. Q: What is your MOQ?

     A: MOQ is 3 to 5 tons. Normally the client will choose one 20GP or 40GP full container to ship the goods.
