ASTM A519 is specified for Seamless Carbon and Alloy Steel Mechanical Tubing. It covers several grades of carbon steel tube and alloy steel seamless mechanical tubing including SAE 1008, 1010, 1020, 1026, 1045, 1541, 4130, 4140, etc. This specification covers both seamless hot finished mechanical tubing and seamless cold finished mechanical tubing up to 12 3/4 inches in terms of outer diameter.
