DIN 1629 is for Seamless Circular Unalloyed Steel Tubes subject to special requirements. These tubes are mainly used for the construction of chemical plant, vessels, pipework and general mechanical engineering purposes. The main materials are DIN 1629 ST37.0, DIN 1629 ST44.0 and DIN 1629 ST52.0. DIN 1629 ST52.0 has excellent weldability such as gas fusion welding, arc welding, flash butt welding, electric pressure welding, and gas pressure welding with relative low cost.

EN10297-1 is a European standard for Seamless Steel Tubes for Mechanical and General Engineering Purposes. It specifies the chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions, dimensional tolerance and technical requirements for seamless circular tubes made of both non-alloy and alloy steel tubes.
EN10084 16MncCr5 20MnCr5 Seamless Tube
European standard EN10084 provides the technical standards for materials including non alloy special steels (C10E, C10R, C15E, C15R, C16E and etc.) and alloy special steels ( 16MnCr5, 20MnCr5 and etc.). Case hardening steels have good wear resistance.
