ASTM A519 1026 Hydraulic Cylinder Tube
Hydraulic cylinder tube is finished inside diameter tube used in the manufacturing of hydraulic components. Hydraulic cylinder tube can be processed through skiving and roller burnishing or honing. The common raw materials used for manufacturing hydraulic cylinder tube is 1026 under ASTM A519, alternative materials are ST52-3 under DIN 2391 and E355 under EN10305-1.

Piston rod tube is made of cold drawn seamless steel tube with stress relieve and annealing. Dingxin manufacture the piston rod tube from the raw material to the finished precision steel tube internally.

ASTM A519 Chrome Plated Rod Tube 1026
Chrome plated tube, which is also known as chrome plated rod tube, is made of cold drawn seamless tube. We source leading raw materials such as TPCO, BAO Steel, SHA Steel which are leading mills in China. The rod tube is used for turned, ground, chrome plated and polished O.D. tubing used in the manufacture of hydraulic cylinders. One main material for chrome plated tubing is AISI 1026.

Pre honed seamless steel tube, also called ready to honed or ready to skived seamless steel tube, is used for production of hydraulic cylinder. The common materials for pre hone tube are ST45, ST52, 1026, E255 and E355.

ASTM A519 1026 Pre Honed Tube
ASTM A519 is specified for Seamless Carbon and Alloy Steel Mechanical Tubing. SAE 1026 is a low to medium carbon steel and it has good machinability and good weldability. The content of manganese is 0.6% to 0.9%, which increase the hardenability, hardness and strength. SAE 1026 is commonly used as raw material for pre honed tube.

DIN 2391 a European standard that specifies dimensions and relevant technical conditions for seamless precision steel tubes. The main applications are mechanical and automotive engineering. DIN 2391 ST52 is a kind of low alloy steel, it is widely used for hydraulic cylinder tube because it has excellent weldability and cost-effective.

EN10305-1 E215 E235 E355 Pre Honed Tube
Pre honed steel tube or pre skived and roller burnished tubes are made from seamless cold finished precision steel tube for the cylinder barrel manufacturing. The inner diameter of cold drawn steel tube is designed to allow machining by either honing or skiving and roller burnishing. The tolerance of inner diameter is agreed upon clients’ request and outer diameter tolerance is according to EN 10305-1.

Q: Do you have any requirement for MOQ?

A: Yes, normally the minimum order quantity is 3 to 5 tons per size. Or you can email us to see if have any stock.

Q: What is your production time for manufacturing the hydraulic cylinder tube?

A: We customize manufacturing cylinder tube based on clients’ requirements. It takes around 40 days to produce the skived and roller burnished tubes.

Q: How much quantity can we put in one container?

A: There are two kinds of containers: 20GP (within 22 tons) or 40GP (within 26 tons).

Q: What is the tolerance for ASTM A519 tubing?

A: In general, WT is plus/minus 10 - 12.5%, depending on the OD-to-WT ratio. ASTM's tolerancing methodology is consistent with the nature of tube manufacturing. And, like any industrial process, production variations can result in tubing being at the edge of allowable tolerances.

A: Quality control is strictly conducted in every aspect of the production phase, from the sourcing of raw material to delivery. The tubes go through 20+ QC process and 50+ parameters.
