ASTM A519 1026 Hydraulic Cylinder Tube
Hydraulic cylinder tube is finished inside diameter tube used in the manufacturing of hydraulic components. Hydraulic cylinder tube can be processed through skiving and roller burnishing or honing.
ASTM A519 1026 Honed Tube
Honed tube, also known as cylinder tube, is finished I.D. tube used in the manufacture of hydraulic components. Honed tube can be made from either cold drawn steel tube or hot rolled steel pipe through deep hole boring. Dingxin is able to manufacture 1026 unhoned tube, 1026 honed tube and SRB (skived & burnished) tube, which means Dingxin enable the quality at the very beginning of the production.
DIN 2391 ST45 ST52 Honed Cylinder Tube H7-H9
Honed tube, also called hydraulic cylinder tube, is used for hydraulic cylinder barrel. ST45 honed tube and ST52 honed tube are widely used as hydraulic cylinder tube due to their good weldability. ST52 is a low alloy steel that is not only hard but also have high tensile properties.

Honed steel tube or skived and roller burnished tubes are made of seamless cold finished precision steel tube. Compared to hot finished tubes, cold drawn seamless tube can provide continuous size range and optimized tolerances. The dimensions can be requested with inner diameter and wall thickness or inner diameter and outer diameter.

There are several possibilities: one is excessive reduction during the cold drawing process or overly rapid transitions in the steel hammer head; another is uneven wall thickness, where localized areas are excessively thin. Additionally, outdated honing equipment that no longer meets pipe processing requirements may also contribute to the problem.
Regarding the concave bending phenomenon in seamless honed tubes, specific corrective measures can be formulated based on the identified causes. For instance, it is necessary to reasonably allocate the reduction amount during the cold drawing process. Regular inspections of all aspects must also be conducted to prevent undesirable phenomena, such as damage from hammers or substandard pipe materials.
