30CrMnSiA Quenched and Tempered Drill Rod Tube

30CrMnSiA is a high-quality medium carbon alloy steel suitable for quenching and tempering. Adding manganese and silicon significantly improves toughness and harden capability.

After cold drawing and quenching & tempering, the tubes have high strength, superior wear resistance, excellent processability, small process deformation and good fatigue resistance. The mechanical properties is comparable with 4130 4140 QT tubes. This makes 30CrMnSiA QT tubes suitable to be adopted as wireline coring rods. Dingxin also offers tubes with superior mechanical properties such as yield strength (Rp0.2) up to 950 MPa, and tensile strength (Rm) up to 1000 MPa.
